Hydrogen ready domestic cooking appliance
Hydrogen ready appliances, the pathway, published by the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC) in February 2021, defines a hydrogen ready domestic cooking appliance as: ‘A gas cooker of any type (Free-standing or Built-In cooking appliance) that “out of the box” is ready to be connected to the Natural Gas Network and, following a conversion and re-commissioning process in situ, can then operate effectively, safely and efficiently using hydrogen.’
